3D portrait of Scarlett Johansson - with all the amazing 3D likeness portraits around at the moment I thought I'd better get back into proper rendering and have a go. Sculpted in Zbrush and Mudbox from an intial basemesh I made in Maya, Rendered in Maya/Arnold using GPU rendering. Used XYZ displacement maps and Zwrap for the pores, etc. Used Xgen for the hair and eyebrows and Zbrush fibremesh for the peach fuzz/vellus hair, though if I do another portrait I'd probably use Xgen for that too, to control density and length more easily.
Plenty of bits I'd like to improve but the render and iteration times are killing me so I think it's time to call it done unless someone wants to donate a couple of RTX Titans :)
